HFN KANO CLOTHES BANK DONATES OVER 200 ITEMS TO CHILDREN’S HOME It was all smiles for the children and staff of Nasarawa Children’s home on Saturday the14th of April, 2023 when they received 251 items from the team of HFN Cloth Bank Kano Centre during the Ramadan fast and in preparation for the just concluded Eid-il-Fitr The team of volunteers led by Mr. Abdussalaam Bisiriyu HFN Clothes Bank Kano centre coordinator and five others made the donation. While speaking at the event the coordinator thanked the management of the children’s home for giving HFN Clothes Bank the opportunity to contribute to the welfare of the children in the home, he further prayed that the Almighty will continue to provide for the home and also protect the children in their care. In his remarks, the head of the home Magaji gidan Marayu thanked HFN Clothes Bank for the donation and prayed that God will continue to provide for the donors He promised that the items donated would be put into good use Items donated included 100 girls’ clothes, 129 boys’ clothes, caps, and detergents

HFN Clothes Bank has added another state to the states where her activities are felt by donating over 300 items to over 50 IDP in RCC area of Benin in Edo state The program which was anchored by the HFN Edo Clothes Bank state coordinator Mr. Yakub Mustafa who led a team of eight volunteers while to the event between 10am and 12noon on Sunday 16th April 2023 While speaking at the event the State coordinator stated that Edo state was actively collecting clothes for distribution to the less privileged in the society and the first set of clothes collected were sent to HFN Clothes Bank Port Harcourt centre for distribution and this event was the first time HFN Edo state will be having their own clothes distribution program which targets the Muslim Community who will soon be having their Eid as part of HFN Clothes Bank annual programmes The deputy leader in the camp who stood in for the leader of the community thanked HFN Clothes Bank for the gesture. He further asked for more support from HFN and other NGO’s to help ameliorate some of the challenges being faced by the community some of which includes water and training for the teeming youth and children

Humanity First Nigeria organised a free medical outreach at Akinwanre village, Ido local government, Ibadan, Oyo State between 7th and 12th February, 2023 The program which was held at Akinware health care centre had over 1000 patients benefitting from it. Some of the activities which featured at the program were; free health diagnosis and drugs, minor surgeries, free eye glasses donation and screening of eye for surgeries. Dr. Sanni Taofeek, the Team Lead Global Health HFN who led the team of health care volunteers to the village paid a courtesy visit to the village head; Mr Mutiu Akinware who lauded the team for coming to his abode with the free medical outreach, he also pledged his support to the medical global health team. An health worker Nurse Haruna commended the excellent arrangement made at the clinic she appreciated the efforts made by HFN at the community health facility which she noted facilitated smooth and efficient service to all patients. A mother to one of the beneficiaries of free minor surgeries Mrs. Grace Jacob expressed her immense gratitude to HFN for the surgery carried out on her son; Emmanuel Jacob at the medical outreach which she noted she couldn’t have afforded if asked to pay. Another Beneficiary of free surgical intervention and a Chief in Akinware town; Mr. Saliu Akinware also expressed his gratitude to Humanity First Nigeria. At the end of the program; 985 people benefited from the free drugs, 28 patients were successfully screened for eye surgery, 32 minor surgeries was carried out, 200 eye glasses were distributed, 879 patients had medical tests like RVS, FBS/RBS, MP, HbSAg HCV. Total number of 1039 patients benefited from the medical outreach. 41 health workers and 18 non health workers participated in the 5 day event.
